George Groves will be ready to fight again within 10 weeks, according to his trainer Adam Booth.
The 24-year-old postponed his WBO world title fight with Robert Stieglitz, after suffering a freak nose cartilage injury while training in Northern Cyprus.
However, Booth has revealed that the fighter, nicknamed The Saint, is still able to keep fit and could make a swift return.
"We are still waiting for the official diagnosis from specialists," Booth told The Sun. "George can train but he can't take part in full contact sparring.
"If everything goes as expected, he will be ready to fight in 10 weeks or possibly less.
"He will carry on with his intense fitness work when he returns to Cyprus."
Groves boast an undefeated professional record with 14 wins, 11 by knockout.
