Audley Harrison: 'I've prepared to beat David Price'

Audley Harrison is in confident mood ahead of his heavyweight clash with David Price this weekend.

Former European heavyweight champion Audley Harrison has said that his training has been good and that he has prepared to beat David Price when the two meet in the ring on Saturday.

Price, who is unbeaten in 13 fights, is widely considered as the best British prospect in heavyweight boxing.

Harrison, on the other hand, has failed to live up to his early potential after he won Olympic gold in 2000.

Now 40 years old, Harrison is ready to show what he can still do tomorrow night.

"I'm confident I am going to be able to walk through him, as tough as he is and as good a prospect as he is," Harrison told Sky Sports News.

"In the amateurs he was found wanting a couple of times, he fought through that, which shows how tough he is but I will show people how great I am."

Harrison was convincingly beaten by David Haye in 2010 and although he made a comeback in beating Ali Adams earlier this year, many see this as Harrison's last chance.

He continued: "I didn't want to retire after the David Haye fight. I wanted to do it on my terms, create my legacy.

"I've been saying all along 2012, my year of redemption. I will continue that on Saturday, then we will see what happens."

Harrison faces Price on Saturday night in Liverpool.
