Ricky Hatton vows to quit boxing should he win a world title, or if he is 'not up to it' anymore.

Ricky Hatton has admitted that he will quit boxing again should he win a world title.

The former two-weight world champion will come out of retirement on November 24, when he faces Ukrainian Vyacheslav Senchenko.

The 34-year-old has also said that he will walk away if his body does not respond as well as it used to.

"The end of 'The Ricky Hatton story' was not being knocked out by Manny Pacquiao," he told the Daily Telegraph. "If I win a world title, I will walk away.

"But win, lose or draw on November 24, if it's not there and I'm not up to it, I'll walk away too. I've done what I needed to do."

The former champion also revealed that he is 10 pounds away from the 147lb limit, with five weeks to go.

The ten-round fight will take place at MEN Arena in Manchester.
