British heavyweight David Haye reveals that he has not decided whether he will retire from boxing after undergoing shoulder surgery last week.

British heavyweight David Haye has revealed that he is solely focused on regaining movement in his right shoulder after undergoing surgery last week.

Doctors have advised Haye to retire after a five-hour operation in Germany, but the two-time world champion has insisted that he has put boxing to the back of his mind while he endures a lengthy rehabilitation process.

The 33-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I'm trying to be as positive as possible, but it's not ideal. I had big plans for next year, and obviously they are completely scrapped.

"I'm just hoping that I can recover. I'm not really thinking about boxing at all. It's just about making sure that I have movement and I'm able to do daily functions. That's the most important thing to me at the moment."

Haye was forced to withdraw from his anticipated domestic clash with Tyson Fury as a result of the surgery.
