Kell Brook's promoter Eddie Hearn has said the Sheffield fighter will face British rival Amir Khan next year.
The 25-year-old maintained his unbeaten record with a sixth round stoppage of Rafal Jackiewicz at the Ponds Forge Arena in his hometown last night and the head of Matchroom boxing was keen to talk about his fighter's future.
"People talk about Amir Khan - that is a natural fight in 2012," he said.
"I don't want to get too carried away, because I might say something I will regret, but that is a fight this country has to see in 2012. We will push to make it happen.
"He can keep making excuses, but it doesn't matter. We will get him."
Khan will fight Lamont Peterson in Washington in December.
