Amir Khan could take on Ricky Hatton in the future, according to the Bolton fighter's manager.
With Hatton tipped to announce his comeback this week and Khan planning to step up to the 147lb class, Asif Vali claims that a 'Battle of Britain' could be on the cards.
"I've spoken to Amir about this before and while he and Ricky are good friends, he knows boxing is a business," The Mirror quotes Vali as saying.
"A fight between Amir and Ricky would be huge. It would be a massive super-fight. It could sell 100,000 at Wembley and everyone would want to see it.
"I'm sure they could put their friendship to one side for 12 weeks for this fight."
Hatton, a former two-weight world champion, is expected to officially announce his comeback on Friday ahead of a return to the ring in November.
