Amir Khan has suggested that a meeting with fellow Brit Kell Brook could attract the same interest as the rivalry between Carl Froch and George Groves.
Froch and Groves met each other twice in the last year, with the former winning for the second time when they faced off at Wembley last month, and Khan has talked up the possibility of fighting his former England amateur teammate.
When asked if a proposed bout could grow to a rivalry similar to that between Froch and Groves, Khan told the Toe 2 Toe podcast: "It can definitely.
"We want to get the whole audience involved and watching the fights, it's looking good for boxing. The numbers are getting bigger and bigger.
"We're not friends but we've sparred each other. He says he got the better of me, but I know I got the better of him and he knows that deep down, but he still won't admit it."
Khan was victorious in his most recent bout against Luis Collazo last month in Las Vegas.
