British welterweight Amir Khan has revealed that he could fight WBO champion Manny Pacquiao in his next fight at the end of the year.
Khan returned to the ring with a convincing win over Luis Collazo last month, but despite having an eye on a showdown with Floyd Mayweather Jr, the Brit is unable to face the unbeaten pound-for-pound king in his next fight because of Ramadan.
That has left Khan seeking other opponents, and the two-weight world titlist has admitted that Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez are in contention to be his next rival in November.
The 27-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I am looking at the likes of Marquez and Manny Pacquiao, as well as Mayweather. They are the big names and that is where I belong - fighting the top guys.
"There are talks about Manny Pacquiao happening in the future - it may be next. So I have left my team do everything."
Pacquiao and Marquez are also in talks to face each other, but it has been reported that there may be issues regarding the split in money that each will receive for any potential meeting.
