Amir Khan will take on Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas in a $200m (£123m) bout on May 3 next year, according to a report.
The Bolton scrapper will net an initial $6m (£3.7m) from the fight, with that figure doubling once TV rights are factored in, the Daily Mail claims.
Khan is allegedly pulling out of his December clash with American Devon Alexander, a decision he is said to have made to ensure that the Mayweather match goes ahead.
The 26-year-old has already begun preparing for the fight, and is expected to spend the next seven months at a training camp in California with coach Virgil Hunter.
An official announcement will reportedly be made about the fight in the coming days, confirming it as the most lucrative involving a British boxer in history.
