British lightweight Derry Matthews wants a rematch with Anthony Crolla as he targets a number of exciting fights in 2013.
Matthews beat Crolla to win the British title, before suffering losses to Gavin Rees and Terry Flannigan. He then won his final two fights in 2012 and now wants to move back on to the world stage.
The Liverpool boxer says he wants a rematch with Crolla, as well as a second fight against Emiliano Marsili, whom he lost to in January, and a shot at Scottish world champion Ricky Burns.
"The lads I really want to fight next year are Anthony Crolla, Emiliano Marsili, Terry Flannigan and Ricky Burns," Matthews told the Liverpool Echo.
"I owe Crolla a rematch, I want to see what I will be like against Marsili with Danny Vaughan in my corner and I would love to test myself against Burns.
"The Flannigan fight is to put the record straight for Prizefighter and see what he's like over ten rounds."
Matthews currently has a record of 32 wins, eight losses and one draw.
