British middleweight Anthony Ogogo has listed Muhammad Ali, Ryan Giggs and Sir Steve Redgrave among his sporting idols when he was growing up.
Ogogo, who was a talented swimmer and footballer in his youth, won bronze at the London Olympics last summer.
"Muhammad Ali [was one of my sporting heroes]. When I watched the first video of him at the age of 10, I was totally in awe of everything about him," Ogogo told The Telegraph. "His style, his manner, his daring.
"In football, it was Ryan Giggs. Then Sir Steve Regrade, who stood out because of the length of time he stayed at the top his sport."
Ogogo's next fight will be on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather against Sual Alvarez on September 14.
