British middleweight Anthony Ogogo has revealed that there is no quick fix to his recovery from a second operation on his Achilles.
Ogogo announced in September that he would have surgery in an attempt to fix chronic pain in the area, but after suffering a setback with his recovery, the Olympic bronze medallist could miss the rest of the year.
The 26-year-old told BBC Radio Suffolk: "I'm now left with two new Achilles and I've got to build them.
"It's about how my body reacts now. There's no reason why it shouldn't work. It was a much bigger job and two or three days afterwards I was in less pain than I was the first time."
Ogogo last fought in July, when he extended his unbeaten professional record to seven matches with a fifth-round stoppage of Wayne Reed.
