Dereck Chisora may be facing a substantial ban from boxing after his brawl with David Haye in Munich on Saturday night.
The 28-year-old will appear in front of the British Boxing Board of Control next month.
While some reports are suggesting that a lifetime ban may be issued, Sports Mole reviews the punishments that the BBBofC have dealt out in the past for similar offences.
1985: Mark Kaylor was fined £15,000 - reduced on appeal - after a pre-fight brawl with Errol Christie.
1994: Hide and Michael Bentt were fined £10,000 each and handed warnings following a press conference fight before their WBO heavyweight title bout.
2000: Mike Tyson was fined £125,000 for continuing to punch Lou Savarese after referee John Coyle had ended the 38-second fight. The punishment was also for distasteful remarks Tyson made about Lennox Lewis following the fight in Glasgow.
2003: Audley Harrison was fined £1,000 for a ringside brawl with Herbie Hide following the Olympic super-heavyweight champion's fight with Matthew Ellis in Bethnal Green, where Hide was a spectator. Hide was fined £500.
2011: Rhys Saunders was banned from boxing for nine months after he confronted opponent Gary Cooper in the immediate aftermath of his debut fight, in which he suffered a first-round stoppage. The fight in Newport was Saunders's debut bout and the result was later changed to a disqualification. The lengthy ban was for a combination of the disqualification and unacceptable, unsportsmanlike behaviour.
