Welsh featherweight Lee Selby has been given the option of facing Australia's Joel Brunker in a final eliminator for a shot at the IBF title.
Selby defeated Romulo Koasicha on points last month to defend his WBC international strap, which has also put him in contention to fight champion Jhonny Gonzalez.
However, the 27-year-old, who is ranked highly within all four world governing bodies, has been informed by the IBF that he has been matched with Brunker, with the winner becoming the mandatory challenger to Evgeny Gradovich.
Talks are yet to begin between the respective camps, but with Selby having taken the WBC route as far back as last summer, it's unclear whether promoter Eddie Hearn will opt to switch his fighter's path when he is nearing an opportunity to compete for his first world title.
