British light-welterweight champion Curtis Woodhouse will attempt to win the Commonwealth belt when he faces current titlist Willie Limond in June.
Woodhouse was initially expected to retire from the sport after securing the British crown against Darren Hamilton earlier this year, but the former professional footballer soon reversed his decision.
The 34-year-old has now been handed the chance to enhance his career by facing Scottish fighter Limond in Glasgow on June 27.
The contest will take place on the undercard of Ricky Burns's return to the ring after he lost his WBO title to Terence Crawford in March.
