Saul Alvarez has recorded a 10th-round stoppage victory over Alfredo Angulo with a dominant performance in Las Vegas.
The Mexican welterweight, who was making his first appearance since losing to Floyd Mayweather in September, looked in control from the first bell as he landed at will against his fellow countryman.
Angulo's only success in the bout came in round eight, but he was met toe-to-toe by Alvarez, who finally brought a one-sided contest to an end with 47 seconds left of the 10th round.
The 23-year-old moves to a professional record of 43 victories in 45 encounters, while Angulo drops to four defeats in 26 fights.
