Floyd Mayweather has defeated Marcos Maidana by a majority decision in their WBC/WBA welterweight title unification bout in Las Vegas.
Mayweather was made to work for the win, with Maidana swarming all over the American from the opening bell.
After Maidana had dominated the early exchanges, Mayweather took control of the middle rounds.
The judges scored the fight 114-114, 117-111, 116-112 in Mayweather's favour.
The result means Mayweather remains unbeaten in 46 professional fights.
