British middleweight Martin Murray has recorded a comfortable points win over Max Bursak to win the WBC silver title.
Murray is hoping to secure his third shot at world honours before the end of the year, and the 31-year-old took a huge step towards achieving that aim in easing past the Ukrainian.
The Mancunian never threatened a stoppage against his opponent, but he was always in control and there was little doubt about the result at the final bell.
The officials scored the bout 117-112, 119-109 and 119-109, all in favour of the Brit, and Murray will now look to face Gennady Golovkin or Miguel Cotto in the winter.
