Scottish cruiserweight Stephen Simmons has stopped Wadi Camacho to successfully defend his WBC international silver title.
The pair had been involved in a war of words in the build-up to their grudge match, but while many predicted that the bout would be decided in the early rounds, both men failed to land a decisive blow.
Camacho produced the cleaner work during the first two rounds as Simmons struggled to find his range, but as the fight developed, the champion began to match the Londoner to ensure that he remain close on the scorecards.
However, the judges weren't needed as Simmons connected with a left hook in the final round, and although Camacho got to his feet, he could offer no response to the next flurry of punches from the Scot, who extends his professional record to 10 successive victories.
