Uzbek middleweight Abbos Atoev has dug deep to hang on against Romania's Bogdan Juratoni and reach the quarter-finals.
Atoev got the better of the opening round and took a 6-4 lead as Juratoni looked a bit sluggish off the mark.
However, Juratoni landed a beautiful straight right in the second that dazed the Uzbek, putting himself firmly in the ascendancy.
The snap in Atoev's punches was now gone and Juratoni took control of the contest. He did not allow his opponent a moment to breathe.
Atoev had run out of steam and was desperately trying to hang on as the Romanian hunted him down.
Despite plenty of scoring punches in the final round, the judges scored it 3-2 to Atoev, who progressed 12-10.
