Scotland boxer Reece McFadden has claimed that he is now the favourite to take gold in the flyweight category at this summer's Commonwealth Games.
McFadden's comments came following his victory over Welshman Andrew Selby – who was the red-hot favourite to claim first place in Glasgow this summer.
"This gold medal is mine. I have just proved it by beating the boy who was the favourite to win it. And I will beat Charlie Edwards next," he told reporters immediately after the bout.
McFadden will take on Team England's Edwards on Sunday evening.
