Ahead of the start of the 2015 European Games in Baku, Sports Mole caught up with the Team GB boxers ready to perform in Azerbaijan.
Middleweight Anthony Fowler is expected to make a serious impression this summer, and the 24-year-old is indeed confident that he will win gold.
Here, we caught up with the Liverpool-born fighter in the Athletes' Village in Baku.
What have you made of the Village so far? Impressed?
"Yeah, it has been great. I couldn't be happier, everything is perfect and what we need, but it is down to business next week."
How important is team bonding at events such as this?
"We all keep each other's spirits up and have a laugh and a joke when we can, but I am here to do a job and I am going to do my best to perform."
What about the next few days? What have you got on the agenda?
"I am big on routine, I follow my fighting routine step by step religiously, I don't make any shortcuts and no stone is left unturned so whenever I fight I will be ready, I will be switched on.
"I am here for the gold. I believe that I can beat anyone here. Obviously I want to win the gold, but qualification is the main thing, but I do want that gold."
Down to business next week then, is that your sole focus?
"A lot of the lads love a bit of culture and everything, but I am happy just sitting in my room and watching television, and of course fighting. I am here strictly on business!"
