Nicola Adams has claimed that her quarter-final clash with Stoyka Petrova in the 2015 European Games would have made a good final.
The Team GB boxer booked her spot in the last eight of the competition with a comfortable victory over Katalin Ancsin in Azerbaijan's capital city on Friday.
Adams and Petrova are widely seen as the two best boxers in the women's flyweight category in Baku, but the pair will meet in the quarter-finals on Monday.
"It is a shame that it will not be the final, but that is the way that the draw goes really," Adams told reporters.
Adams beat Petrova on her way to gold at the 2012 Olympics, but the Bulgarian gained revenge at the 2014 European Championships.
