Japan's Ryota Murata has battled back from the brink of elimination to score a one-point victory over Uzbekistan's Abbos Atoev.
The two fighters stood toe to toe in the centre of the ring, throwing out single ineffective shots.
As the round went on, Atoev began to pull clear after piercing the Japanese man's guard with some straight lefts.
The Uzbek led by three points after two rounds that were fairly low on action or excitement. He began to work off the back foot in the final round in order to see out victory.
Murata pushed forward as he chased the bout, throwing caution to the wind. The Japanese fighter received a helping hand from the referee, who gave Atoev a warning.
Those two points made the difference, as the he claimed a 13-12 decision.
