Great Britain have won the silver medal in the men's C2 final at the Rio Olympics.
David Florence and Richard Hounslow matched their second-place finish from the London Games four years ago, only missing out to Slovakian pair Ladislav Skantar and Peter Skantar.
The British duo looked to be on course for gold towards the final third of the route, but they lost a lead of more than a second to narrowly miss out on the top prize.
The medal comes just two days after Joe Clarke's gold in the K1 category, and three days after Florence had suffered a disappointing 10th-place finish in the C1 final.
France completed the podium as the last boat down, knocking Germany out of the bronze medal position at the death.
