Australia batsman Adam Voges has insisted that fast bowler Mitchell Johnson is back to his best ahead of The Ashes this summer.
Johnson tormented England last year as he took 37 wickets to guide Australia to a 5-0 whitewash.
The 33-year-old has not enjoyed the same level of success in England, but Voges has promised that he will not struggle this year.
He is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail: "Our net sessions aren't much fun at all at the moment, to be honest. He's got his zip back, he's bowling fast and he's swinging them as well.
"That is the biggest thing with Mitch - there's always been genuine pace, but when he is swinging it at pace as well then he's a different proposition.
"We saw him hit Shaun Marsh on the hand, and Steve Smith ended up on his backside by the stumps at one stage, so he's as ready to go as he possibly can be. I'm sure he's going to play a huge part in this series."
The first Test starts in Cardiff tomorrow.
