Ashton Agar has been handed a recall by Australia for the fourth Test against India in Sydney.
The 21-year-old spinner, who struck 98 on debut against England at Trent Bridge while batting at 11, has not played since the second match of that series last summer.
However, he will join Nathan Lyon in the squad for the match as the hosts look to take advantage of the spinner-friendly conditions.
"He's bowling very well at the moment, he's a good addition to the squad. We'll see how the wicket is in Sydney when we get there and we'll go from there," Australia captain Steve Smith told reporters.
"We're not too sure what it will be like. Last year it had a bit of grass on it and previously it's been quite a spin friendly wicket. I think it's more of a see how the wicket is and, if he's needed, then he can play."
Australia clinched the series with a draw in Melbourne.
