George Bailey: 'Australia ready for fresh England onslaught'

George Bailey says that Australia will be prepared for anything new that England try against them in the Twenty20 series.

Australia Twenty20 captain George Bailey is confident that his side will be ready for anything new England try to throw at them during the imminent three-game series.

England have added four fresh faces to their beleaguered squad for the series, three of whom have spent the past month playing in Australia's Big Bash League.

Alex Hales, Luke Wright and Michael Lumb have all enjoyed some rare English success Down Under this winter, but Bailey believes that his side are prepared for them and will lean on Cameron White, who captains Wright at the Melbourne Stars, for information before Wednesday's opener in Hobart.

"We'll tap into that and hopefully most of our bowlers have seen, played with or against most of those guys," Bailey told reporters.

"Cameron White will help as someone who is a captain and done a bit of planning for a few of those guys.

"That will be an advantage for us but also an advantage for them because they will have seen our bowlers."

Australia sit eighth in the world Twenty20 rankings, two spots below England, and have named an under-strength squad with their Test stars, such as David Warner, Mitchell Johnson and Shane Watson, set to fly out to South Africa on Wednesday.
