Mike Hussey has revealed that Australia are now targeting the world number one ranking after their 4-0 series whitewash over India.
The Aussies followed England by thrashing MS Dhoni's side over the New Year and the veteran batsman now admits that Australia have an eye on replacing their great rivals as the best Test team in the world.
"There's no hiding our ambition in the wake of our 4-0 Test series win over India," Hussey told Perth-based newspaper The Sunday Times.
"We want to reclaim the world number one mantle from England. How often do we talk about it? Every day."
Hussey averages 50.82 with the bat in 70 Tests for his country since making his debut in 2005.
