Bangladesh continued their dominance over the West Indies with a record run chase and a seven-wicket win to move up to fifth in the World Cup standings.
Set 322 to win on a true Taunton pitch, Shakib Al Hasan scored his second century of the tournament – to finish 124 not out – as Bangladesh pulled off their highest chase in one-day international cricket.
It was just short of Ireland's record chase in World Cup history when they scored 329 for seven to beat England at Bangalore in 2011, but it was good enough for second spot.

Nicholas Pooran injected some much-needed urgency into the West Indies innings. Pooran top scored with 63 against England at Southampton on Friday. His strokeplay included a towering straight six off Bangladesh off-spinner Mehidy Hasan, which took a roof tile off the Sir Ian Botham Stand.
Bowled over
Chris Gayle can destroy any attack in the world if he gets in to his stride. But the left-hander's return to Taunton, where he played for Somerset in 2015 and 2016, ended in ignominy. Gayle had scratched around for 12 balls before Mohammad Saifuddin moved one across him and Mushfiqur Rahim accepted a tidy low catch behind the stumps.
