Graeme Swann has revealed that England will be paying special attention to Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni throughout their four-match series.
The 32-year-old admitted that while most will be watching Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar attempt his hundredth century, the England players will be looking at the bigger picture.
"It would be very, very risky to focus all our energies on Sachin Tendulkar," he said. "Sure, he's the best player in the modern generation but they've got so many other good players.
"MS Dhoni is probably a more important member of the team right now than any other player, because he leads from the front and is a very dangerous cricketer. If we can get at anyone, he's probably the key man."
England are looking to go top of the rankings with a two-Test win in the series, which got under way today.
