Australia lose quick wickets

Stuart Broad claims four wickets as Australia attempt to score quick runs in their second innings.

Australia lost six wickets before tea as they went about setting England an unassailable victory target during the final Ashes Test of the five-match series at The Oval.

The tourists bowled out England for 377 earlier today, which in turn provided them with a lead of 115 runs.

With that in mind, the Aussies tried big shots from the very start of their second innings in a bid to put some quick runs on the board.

However, as a result they lost wickets at regular intervals, with Stuart Broad claiming four, including Brad Haddin for a golden duck.

When the end of the afternoon session was called by the umpires, Australia were 111-6, with a lead of 226. They will resume with captain Michael Clarke unbeaten on 28, with Mitchel Starc alongside him on 13.
