England have insisted that Kevin Pietersen, Stuart Broad and Jonny Bairstow will not face any action after they were photographed in an Adelaide bar.
The trio are said to have been pictured in the early hours of Monday morning, prompting Adelaide newspaper Advertiser to describe Pietersen and Broad as 'Ashes villains'.
Despite the negative reaction Down Under, according to The Guardian, an England spokeswoman has said: "They are free to do as they please, they are grown men."
The second Ashes Test gets underway on Wednesday, with England trailing 1-0 to the Aussies in the series.
