England captain Joe Root has described the selection dilemma which is in front of him and selectors ahead of the second Ashes Test as "fascinating".
After Stuart Broad and James Anderson were left out of the first game in Brisbane, there is as assumption that the legendary pair will return for the day-night showdown in Adelaide.
However, Root has only had positive words for the performances of his bowlers during their recent nine-wicket defeat, and he has suggested that bringing in the two veterans is far from a foregone conclusion.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, Root said: "No selection is straightforward and this one looks like it could be a fascinating one.
"The great thing is we have got everyone fit and available and ready, so whoever is given the opportunity, you would like to think they will be champing at the bit.
"We obviously have big decisions to make."
Dominic Bess is also regarded as an alternative to fellow spinner Jack Leach, while Ben Stokes's knee problem will be assessed ahead of the game which begins on Thursday. body check tags ::
