England one-day captain Alastair Cook has admitted that his side have got what they deserved so far from their series in India.
The hosting Indians wrapped up an eight-wicket victory earlier today to take a 2-0 advantage in the series and Cook has conceded that his team has been "outplayed" on both occasions.
"We tried everything," Cook told BBC Sports. "We tried to bowl slowly with Swanny and we tried bowling quickly with Swanny. We also tried to mix and match the seamers.
"But they did everything we didn't do in our batting.
"They've outplayed us twice now. We have to hold our hands up because we haven't been good enough."
The sides meet again on Thursday.
