Ratcliffe is planning sweeping changes at Old Trafford, with the British billionaire determined to put the club in a position to challenge for major trophies once again.

Man United could end this season with the FA Cup trophy, but they are now highly unlikely to play Champions League football next term, currently sitting seventh in the table, 16 points off fourth-placed Aston Villa.

The England captain ended his long association with Tottenham Hotspur last summer in order to make the move to Bayern, and he has had an impressive first campaign at Allianz Arena, scoring 40 goals and registering 13 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.

Kane has 33 goals and 10 assists in 30 Bundesliga outings this term, but Bayer Leverkusen have already confirmed their position as champions for the 2023-24 campaign.

The 30-year-old can still help Thomas Tuchel's side secure Champions League glory this term, though, with the club preparing to tackle Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the competition.

Man Utd suffer transfer blow as teenage target is 'not available this summer'

Barcelona have reportedly deemed Mikayil Faye to be 'non-transferable' this summer, with the centre-back set to be a first-team member at Camp Nou next season.

The 19-year-old arrived at the Catalan team from Croatian outfit NK Kustosija last July, and he has featured on 28 occasions for Barcelona B this season, finding the back of the net four times.

Faye, who scored on his Senegal debut in March, is yet to make a first-team appearance for Barcelona, but he has been on the bench for three of their last five La Liga matches.

Vazquez is not first choice at Bernabeu, but he has proven himself to a valuable squad member once again this term, contributing two goals and six assists in 32 appearances in all competitions.

The Spaniard starred against Barcelona in El Clasico last weekend, scoring once and providing two assists in an excellent performance from right-back, with Real Madrid winning 3-2 to move 11 points clear at the top of the La Liga table.

Real Madrid's top target 'agrees to play as a number nine next season'

Kylian Mbappe has reportedly agreed to a position change if he makes the move to Real Madrid this summer.

There has been no official confirmation over the France international's plans when it comes to his future, but he is widely expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer on June 30 and then sign for Real Madrid.

Mbappe's favoured position is the left-sided attacking role, but the same can also be said for Vinicius Junior, who has again been in excellent form for Los Blancos this season, scoring 19 goals and registering 11 assists in 32 appearances in all competitions.

There have been claims that Mbappe's arrival could lead to Real Madrid listening to offers for Vinicius, with Manchester United thought to be willing to pay a substantial fee for his services.

Indeed, the Reds are believed to have entered negotiations for 45-year-old Feyenoord manager Arne Slot, previously linked with Tottenham Hotspur last summer on the back of leading the Rotterdam giants to just their second Eredivisie crown of the millennium.
