Jonny Bairstow has signed a fresh three-year contract with Yorkshire, keeping him at Headingley through to December 2018.
The England international was key to the county side's championship-winning campaign, posting five centuries.
"I'm delighted to be signing a new contract with Yorkshire," the 26-year-old, currently in South Africa ahead of England's upcoming Test series, told the club's website.
"We had a tremendous season in Championship cricket, lifting the title for a second successive season. It is great to be part of a culture where winning and being successful is at the heart of what drives the team on.
"The players are determined more than ever to ensure that we continue to set the benchmark high. It is an exciting time to be part of Yorkshire and England cricket and I look forward to continuing to contribute to the success of both teams."
England take on a South Africa Invitational XI in a two-day match which gets underway today in Potchefstroom, ahead of the opening Test match in Durban on Boxing Day.
