Batsman Ian Bell has revealed that he is 'really excited' at the prospect of representing his country at a major tournament in England.
England and Wales will host the ICC Champions Trophy in June, and after he was named in England's provisional squad, Bell has admitted that he is eager to be selected for his side's match with Australia at Edgbaston.
The 30-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It is always good to play in a big tournament, but especially at home, when Edgbaston is a big part of it.
"It is really exciting and something that doesn't happen very often in people's careers, so it is nice to have that opportunity and we are really looking forward to it."
The tournament begins on June 6, when India play South Africa in Cardiff.
