Ravi Bopara has insisted that he will "have fun" and "enjoy" his return to the England one-day international side.
Despite having shown some positive form with both the bat and ball during the summer, the Essex all-rounder was omitted from the squad for the limited-over matches against India.
However, he has been recalled for the upcoming series in Sri Lanka, during which the 29-year-old has vowed not to heap any extra pressure on his shoulders.
"I was disappointed to miss out in the summer, but that's life. I'm not putting pressure on myself. It's a great opportunity, time to have fun," he told Sky Sports News.
"You realise when you get dropped what it really means to you and you should play every game like it's your last and really enjoy it."
Bopara has scored 2,453 one-day international runs for England at an average of 31.44.
