England's cricketers who beat Sri Lanka in the Twenty20 World Cup on Thursday have been fined a percentage of their match fee for a slow over rate in the match.
The regulations state that the players receive a 10% fine for each over they go beyond the required rate, with England only getting through 18 by the end of their allotted time.
It means that 10 of the players will receive a 20% fine, while captain Stuart Broad's fine is doubled to 40% of his match fee.
England have now won one and lost one of their opening games at the tournament.
