England have handed three of their players debuts in the one-day international against Ireland today.
Michael Carberry and Gary Ballance have been named in the team, while Boyd Rankin, who opened the bowling for Ireland against England two years ago, has switched to the other side to make his debut.
Jamie Overton, who was poised to be the youngest player representing England, has missed out on a place in the team.
England won the toss and opted to bowl first at Malahide.
