Eoin Morgan expects more from England after Twenty20 win over New Zealand

England captain Eoin Morgan believes that there is more to come from his side in limited-overs cricket following the Twenty20 win over New Zealand.

Eoin Morgan has revealed his excitement about the potential of the current England squad following their latest triumph in limited-overs cricket.

England followed a 3-2 one-day international series win by recording a 56-run victory over the Black Caps in a Twenty20 international at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening, and Morgan believes that there is more to come from his players.

"Coming out and playing in the same fashion that we've sort of grown accustomed to over the last few one day internationals was pleasing," the England skipper told Sky Sports News.

"Everybody within the squad has bought into everything that we want to be about as a side, the mindset we want to set, particularly with the bat. We've continued to churn out runs at a solid rate, which we haven't done in the past.

"Considering the average age in the group is 24, 25, it makes it very exciting moving down the line. We probably haven't seen the best of our squad yet. We've seen some outstanding individual performances - I can't fault Joe Root and Jos Buttler in the way they've led things in the one day series."

England now turn their focus to Australia ahead of the first Ashes Test match in Cardiff on July 8.
