England bowler Steven Finn has said that whitewashing Pakistan would be the perfect way to underline the team's ODI credentials.
Pakistan humiliated England 3-0 in the Test series in the UAE, putting England's status as the world's number one ranked side in jeopardy.
However, Andy Flower's men have now taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the four-match ODI series and will attempt a clean sweep on Tuesday.
"I wouldn't say it makes up for the Test series defeat," Finn told Sky Sports News.
"I'd say it shows we've improved and adapted to the conditions and now have the chance to make it 4-0 on Tuesday.
"[Tuesday] is a great opportunity for us to ram home what a good one day side we've become."
Finn, 22, took three wickets in Saturday's match in Dubai, taking his series total to 11.
