Andrew Flintoff will turn his hand to coaching by helping England's one-day side as they prepare for their game against India in Brisbane.
The former Lancashire all-rounder is already in Australia, taking part in the Big Bash League for Brisbane Heat.
However, Cricinfo reports that the ex-England star may be brought in to offer advice to a bowling attack that has been met with some criticism as they build up to the World Cup next month.
Flintoff had retired from all cricket in 2010 following a succession of injuries.
However, the 37-year-old returned for Lancashire in last year's domestic T20 competition before playing in the BBL.
