Joe Root posted a double century on day three of Yorkshire's County Championship clash against Derbyshire this afternoon.
The 22-year-old surpassed the 200-run mark from 336 deliveries and went on to contribute a further 36 runs to his score before he was bowled by Dan Redfern.
His knock of 236 followed the 182 runs that he scored during his county's win over Durham last week.
Root is expected to be part of the England side that takes on New Zealand in a two-match Test series next month, as well as the Ashes later this year.
Meanwhile, another England batsman and teammate of Root, Jonny Bairstow, added 186 runs to Yorkshire's total as they ended the day at Headingley on 597-5.
