England captain Eoin Morgan has said that he does not regret choosing to bowl in the second one-day international against Australia today.
The hosts fell 88 runs short of the Aussies' imposing 315-7 total led by captain Michael Clarke, who scored 105 from 102 balls at Old Trafford.
"It's very disappointing not to get a win under our belt in the first game of the series," Morgan, who notched a half-century, told Sky Sports News.
When asked if he regretted the decision to chase a total, Morgan said: "No, I don't think so. We have a very strong batting lineup and one that we have a lot of confidence in."
Australia take a 1-0 series lead as the first game was rained off. The third match of the five-game series takes place in Birmingham on Wednesday.
