Bad light and rain has prevented any play between England and New Zealand in the first Test at Dunedin.
Brendon McCullum won the toss and elected to bowl but just 10 minutes before the start of play the umpires decided that the light was too poor to begin; heavy rain then followed.
It is expected that it will take up to two hours to make the ground accessible for action, which could be about 1.30am GMT.
Earlier, the ECB confirmed that Graeme Swann would miss all of the Test series and will undergo surgery for an elbow problem.
Monty Panesar took his place in the England side, which was as expected, bar the injury to Swann.
