Kevin Pietersen admitted that the result was all that mattered after his century helped England to a nine-wicket win over Pakistan in Dubai.
The batsman's unbeaten knock of 111 has given the tourists an unassailable 3-0 lead in the four-game series.
"Most importantly we're 3-0 up in a four-match series, so it's a series win for England away from home," Pietersen, who was awarded the Man of the Match award, told Sky Sports News.
"It was nice to get some [runs], I said yesterday that I'm not at a stage where I don't know where my next run is coming from, I'm just getting out in silly little ways.
"I'm always getting starts and then getting myself out, so with a little bit of fortune I was lucky enough to get to three figures today."
The final ODI against Pakistan takes place on Tuesday.
