England wicketkeeper Matt Prior has expressed his joy at being the stand-in captain for his side's Ashes warm-up match against the Western Australia Chairman's XI.
Prior has been installed as skipper due to the absence of regular captain Alastair Cook, who will miss tomorrow's clash due to a sore back.
"I'm very excited about it and it's an exciting time for the team in general. Everyone's ready and raring to go for the first game of the tour," Prior told BBC Radio 5 live. "To have that extra little bit of responsibility is great."
Kevin Pietersen and Stuart Broad are also expected to miss the match.
