Steven Finn staked his claim for inclusion in the England Test team thanks to a four-wicket haul in a warm-up encounter against a Pakistan 'A' side earlier today.
It is widely accepted that the 26-year-old is in a battle with Liam Plunkett and Mark Wood for the final place in the pace attack alongside James Anderson and Stuart Broad.
In what is the second of two two-day matches prior to the upcoming three-Test series against Pakistan in the UAE, Finn had, at one stage, taken four wickets at the expense of just two runs.
At the close of play, Finn's figures were 4-16, while spinner Adil Rashid also weighed in with three wickets.
